The best dancers make dancing look virtually effortless.  They glide, spin, stop and shape around the floor with the apparent ease as if going for a stroll in the park.  Why do they make it look easy, while you struggle just to do a fraction of what they produce?  Yes, their technique is superior, and therefore the dancing becomes free of stress and strain, but that is not the only factor.

The champions of Ballroom & Latin have trained their bodies to produce and maintain perfect posture, great floor coverage, dynamic changes of speed and the flexibility to create beautiful shapes.  Many top professional dancers employ personal trainers to work on their power, flexibility and endurance.  Have you considered these topics within your training program?

  • Have you developed your core strength enough to produce and maintain perfect posture throughout your dancing without working or thinking about it?

  • Do you have the balance and strength to stand on one foot and produce foot rise?

  • Do you have the endurance to do a full 5-dance final without showing fatigue during the last seconds of the Quickstep or Jive?
